Campbell-Graves.org is a public awareness project focused on consumer & economic issues, including housing, mortgages, energy, credit, taxes, and retirement. Our goal is to provide unbiased, well-researched, and well-reasoned reports that help our communities make better informed decisions. Privileged Healthcare — the Uniquely American Solution looks at key provisions of Senate bill that will begin debate in December & the House bill that passed earlier this month. Both bills set the pace for healthcare reform. The report reveals key provisions that conflict with Congress’ stated goal of delivering affordable healthcare for all Americans. Both proposals create an environment in which privilege takes precedence over rights, placing a disproportionate burden on middle-income families. The report concludes that a powerful public option is needed, and Congress’ best ideas so far are inadequate. The proposals have a number of problems, including inequities that favor wealthy over middle-income families. Privileged Healthcare — the Uniquely American Solution is a 12-page, 6,700 word report containing three graphs and a video explaining notable points. It examines House bill (HR3962) and the Senate bills (HR3590, S1796 & S1697). Details of these bills reveal a pattern similar to what we found in The Pass Through: Compromising America’s Public Interests. The report is Free. Buy the Pass Through, extended edition, & we’ll give you $200 worth anti-virus, anti-spyware, registry & system cleaners, and one-year of technical support for your computer as a gift. |
